Overview
Nook Calendar is an Android app made by BrightNook. It helps you view and synchronize iCloud Calendar on your Android device.
This policy explains how the app accesses, uses, stores, and shares information. If you have questions, contact us at contact@brnook.com.
Calendar and connection information
To connect to iCloud Calendar, Nook Calendar asks for your Apple Account email address and an Apple App-specific password. It may also access calendar information needed to show and synchronize your events.
- This information is processed and kept on your device.
- It is used only to connect to Apple’s iCloud/CalDAV service and provide the app’s calendar features.
- BrightNook does not operate a server that receives or stores your calendar data, Apple Account email address, or App-specific password.
Advertising and purchases
The free version of Nook Calendar may show ads provided by Google AdMob. Google and its advertising technology may process device, advertising, and usage information in accordance with Google’s own policies. Nook Calendar does not share your calendar content or Apple App-specific password with AdMob.
If you choose the Premium upgrade, the one-time purchase is processed by Google Play. Premium uses all iCloud display alerts for each event and removes ads permanently. BrightNook does not receive or store your payment card details.
Retention and deletion
Your connection and calendar information remain on your device until you remove the account, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Because BrightNook does not store this information on its servers, we do not have a separate server-side copy to delete.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
